Operation of Members Portal and Terms of Use
- The Association Independent Schools of the Northern Territory (AISNT) operates the website which can be accessed at
aisnt.asn.au
- AISNT developed the Members Portal for educational purposes to provide AISNT Members access to professional development.
- By visiting or using the Members Portal, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (Terms of Use).
- In order to access and use the Portal, you must indicate your acceptance of these Terms of Use.
Users
- AISNT's member portal is only accessible for current employees at AISNT Member Schools, or approved bodies.
- You must sign up using your school domain email address before your account will be authorised by AISNT.
- You will need to choose a password for your assigned username. You are responsible for the activity that occurs under the username assigned to you, and you must keep your chosen password confidential, secure and updated.
- Do not use a username or password of another person at any time. You must also not disclose your username or password to any other person/s.
- Immediately notify AISNT if you suspect any unauthorised use of your username or access to your password.
Use of Portal
- AISNT's member portal is for professional development and educational use only. You must seek written consent from AISNT to use the portal for any other purposes.
- You must not make any modifications to any part of the members portal without receiving written approval from AISNT.
- AISNT's member portal must not be used for any unlawful, illegal or otherwise prohibited activities. AISNT reserves the right to take appropriate action; removal of access to the members portal; or legal action if necessary.
- You must notify AISNT if you become aware, or reasonably suspect unlawful, illegal or otherwise prohibited activity through AISNT's member portal.
Third Party Content
- The Member Portal may contain links to third party content or websites that are not monitored, owned or controlled by AISNT.
- AISNT recommends users to read the terms and conditions and privacy policy of any third-party websites you visit.
Disclaimer and Exclusion of Liability
- To the fullest extent legally possible, AISNT will not be responsible for any problems, failures or technical malfunctions related to the use of the member portal.
- While AISNT and its staff make every effort to provide and publish accurate information and advice, the information and advice contained in the portal is not intended to be a comprehensive review of all development and legal requirements. Readers should take advice (including legal) before applying information contained in the member portal to specific issues.
Duration
- These Terms of Use, as modified from time to time, will apply for so long as you have a username to access the Portal, and will continue in full force and effect after you cease to be entitled to access the Portal under the terms of this document.
Expiry and Termination
- The AISNT member portal is for employees of Member Schools or AISNT staff members, your access to the portal will end when your employment ends.
- AISNT may terminate your access to the member portal at any time, for any reason (including no reason), and without prior notice or explanation, and without any form of liability whatsoever to you or any other person.
Revision of Terms of Use
- The AISNT may modify or revise these Terms of Use from time to time, you agree to be bound by modifications or revisions.
- The AISNT may attempt to notify you of any amendments, however you should review the Terms of Use each time you access the member portal to ensure that you are updated to any amendments.
- You agree that AISNT is under no obligation to notify you when the Terms of Use are amended and acknowledge that your continued access to the member portal signifies unqualified acceptance of the amended Terms of Use.
Governing Law
- These Terms of Use are governed by the law in force in the Northern Territory. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State and the Federal Court of Australia in respect of all proceedings arising in connection with these Terms of Use and the Portal.
